She has a great bargin bin with $1 items too. So, please help me out and check out her site. If you like something support her. Thanks!

Hey everyone. I have a freebie for you! I have several new things coming out in the store at Color Line Design and in anticipation of that I will be giving away a freebie today, tomorrow and Saturday. Each freebie relates to a new item in the store.

This first item is a Barn Star. They are so popular here where I live. I see them on houses everywhere. I love them and decided they would be a good accent for my new Home Sweet Home Kit. I also had so much fun making them that I did up an element pack with 5 of them.

Here is the preview for the Element Pack that will be available Monday.

HERE is the freebie and don't forget to check back Friday and Saturday for more freebies!

My Mom's 2008 Calendar

Yippeeee, I've finally finished all the layouts for my mother's 2008 calendar. I didn't keep track of all the wonderful kits, elements, etc. that I used, so I hesitated putting them out for everyone to see. However, I've had a few people ask to see them all, so here they are. If something grabs your eye and you want to know who made it, let me know and I'll hunt it down in my stash of stuff for you.

When I do a calendar each year for my mom, I've started using pictures from the year. . .so for this 2008 calendar all the pictures are from 2007.

This first layout is my youngest daughter, Shayla. Looking at the layout, I realize I've left her name off of it. Better go fix that mistake right now hehe.

This layout is my middle daughter, Stacia.

This is my youngest child, Joshua.

This is Katelyn. She is the oldest grandchild of my parents.

Here is my oldest daughter, Makiya. I can say that I designed everything on this layout.

This is my niece, Nellie. She is 7 months older than Joshua.

This is Oakley. She turned 4 in October. This is another kit I helped design with August Designs.

This layout was tricky. I had family photos from each family and merging them together took a bit of luck! But, I think it turned out pretty good.

This cutie is Abigail. She just celebrated her 5th birthday.

This is Carson. He is 6 months younger than Stacia and 7 months older than Shayla. He was the only boy cousin until I had Joshua 2 years ago. Nothing like being the only boy cousin with 3 sisters and 4 girl cousins to boss you around at family gatherings. He now has two boy cousins, although they are still a bit young to hang out with.

This is the baby of the family, Deacon. He just celebrated his first birthday.

These fun photos were taken at our family Christmas party last year. The adults in the center photo are my brother, Troy and his wife Charity (oakley and deacon's mom and dad). I didn't have a photo of Deacon with Santa so had to use this one, even though the other adults aren't shown. (Well, my sister is shown holding her screaming child . .there's something about 1 year old's and santa. Neither Nellie nor Joshua wanted anything to do with Santa last year.)

November 19th

Hey Bloggers. We are doing pretty good here. We are getting ready to spend Thanksgiving with Grandpa and Grandma. The kids are so excited.

Just thought I'd pass along that we have some great scrapping stuff available at August Designs.

Monday, November 12, 2007

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I wrote on this blog. Here are a couple of layouts I put together tonight. All the papers/elements were created by either my friend Becki or myself, we've had them available for our digiscrapping friends on our August Designs Blog

We just started giving out the links for our huge Christmas kit and now that it's done, I thought I'd spend a couple of days actually using all our fun stuff and do some layouts.

This first one is from Makiya's birthday last month. She and her friends had a blast getting their manicures!

This one is of Joshua taken the same day as Makiya's party, so Joshua was 26 months. The photo is sooo him right now. I had asked him to smile and this is what I got. He finds the camera and hands it to me while he's saying "cheese" but I can't get him to smile lately and he's starting to turn his head too. At least I got "the look" for this one.

November 2nd

I finally got Joshua to let me record him "leading" music. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen and you can watch the video. It's kind of dark, but you can see him and hear him (turn the sound up).

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Happy Halloween readers! We had a great day. The girls all had fun dressing up for school and also for the dinner and trunk or treat at the church this evening. Here are some of my favorite shots.

The girls before heading over to the church for the annual dinner/trunk or treat.

I've been having a difficult time getting Joshua to stand still for pictures lately . . . he says "cheese" and then turns and runs. This is the best I could get with him wearing his hard hat. He was a builder.

Makiya with her decorated cookie . .She was a fortune teller.

Joshua wouldn't keep his cute yellow hard hat on his head! Here he is just standing around and taking everything all in. He had a blast tonight. When we were driving home Chuck asked the kids if they had fun and he just yelled as loud as he could "yeah."

This picture of Makiya is actually from Saturday evening. She went to a Halloween Party hosted by a friend from school. She did wear the wig to school, but took it off and didn't want to wear it tonight because it bothered her.

Last night (tuesday) Chuck helped Stacia and Shayla carve pumpkins. We turned out the lights and I got this darling picture of Joshua being "scared". He hunches up his shoulders and shakes, it's pretty funny.

Here's Joshua from tonight. He decorated a couple of cookies. This was his first one. After that he just wanted to decorate them, but didn't want to eat them.

Here's my little vampire, Shayla with her decorated cookie.

The model Stacia striking a pose. She was an egyptian queen. I called her a princess and couple of times and was quickly corrected.
