President Gordon B. Hincley

On Sunday night the prophet of the church I belong to (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) passed away. He was 97 years old. This is a little tribute I did to help my children with his passing.

The words are from a song Pres. Hinckley wrote:
I know that my Redeemer lives, Triumphant Savior, Son of God, Victorious over pain and death, My King, my Leader, and my Lord.

He lives, my one sure rock of faith, The one bright hope of men on earth, The beacon to a better way, The light beond the veil of death.

Oh, give me thy sweet Spirit still,The peace that comes alone from thee,The faith to walk the lonely roadThat leads to thine eternity.

Last Few Layouts for CT's this month

I finished up my CT assignments for the month. Here are my final 3 layouts. The first two are kits done by my friend Becki Kress and available at Elemental Scraps. The last layout has frames done by Becki and the rest was created by Miss Mint at Peppermint Creative.

Well, now that I don't have to devote my scrapping time to designing, I've actually managed to get several layouts done this past week. Yes, that is a pat on my back hehe.

Good News

I have decided to post a few of my kits here for free. They will be limited, so grab them while you can. This will be a two part download. Part two will be available in a day or two. This kit is no longer available.

Sad Announcement

I am sad to announce that I will no longer be selling at Color Line Design or Designing-Moments. I have had to make a very difficult decision, but family has to come first. I'm not sure exactly when my stuff will be pulled from the stores, but in the next few days it will be gone.

I am not leaving digital scrapbooking. I love it to much to leave it behind. I just dont' want the pressure of having to design a certain number of kits per month and then also the promoting that has to go along with it. I will be watching for a couple of stores to apply as a CT member. I will also be a CT member at CLD and for my good friend Becki (my August Designs partner).

Thank you for all your support the past 2 months.
