Okay, so it's the end of the day, but I do hope you had a good day! A couple of weeks ago Chuck went to tune a piano for a customer and he and the lady got talking and decided to swap pianos. She wanted an upright and we've been wanting a baby grand. So, today was moving day. Chuck and I got our piano loaded on a trailer this morning (by 7:30 am) and then a couple of friends came over and went with Chuck to the lady's house and the brought back the baby grand. Chuck has some work to do on the baby grand and I can't even play it yet because he has the action out of it while he makes some repairs and we are going to put new key top on the keys. He's also going to do a cover lay on the piano to brighten it up and get rid of a lot of the little scratches, once that it done it will be lovely!
The next part of the day was spent looking for a new van. The transmission on mine finally went out. We were going to get a new one sometime this year, but we really didn't want to have to come up with the payments quite yet. Oh well. We found a Chevy Uplander that we like and hopefully Tuesday we'll be able to find a lending institution (through the dealship) that will give us a loan. Chuck's van is on its last let too.
Tonight for Valentines Chuck took me out to dinner. We'd gotten a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's for the kids and I rented a couple of movies for them. They actually made it through the evening of us being gone without calling us to break up a fight. That was a real treat!

We have a Chevy Uplander and we have really liked it! The piano sounds like it will be really pretty once it all gets fixed. How nice! We had Papa Murphy's heart shaped pizza tonight too!
